When we moved onto our business estate a new entrance was created just around the corner and a Post Code change was implemented.
Unfortunately the governments Valuation Office Agency weren't informed so we and other neighbouring units receive annual time and tax payers money wasting requests to fill in a lengthy survey to determine potential changes to rateable value, addressed to the old post code, followed by reminders, threats of fines etc.,
After multiple attempts to advise the VOA of the post code change we have today received notice of acknowledgement........... .......16 years later!
