Sounds like they have just made a lot of money for doing very little. It's also very poor showing that they have haven't actioned / responded given that this charge will be pure profit.

My best advice would be to look to moving your domains elsewhere, not just to save you money, but to ensure you retain long term control.

As our customers will testify, sometimes paying that little bit extra for a domain name is priceless as often it's backed up by quality support (phone and email) and no hidden costs (eg additional fees to transfer accounts, or move domains to a new host). Cheap hosts and domain providers normally carry catches, and it looks like you have sadly found some of them. I hope that if you do decide to move your domains to somewhere safer that further costs aren't applied, but with some extensions (eg .com) they can legitimately apply them with very few ways to avoid them.

If you do have any other domain requirements and you would like access to a good UK based support them then feel free to consider us :)

A domain name is only worth what someone is willing to pay :)

We would be happy to house your domains, and for bulk orders we can apply discounts, just get in touch. As for selling domains you could look at the likes of Sedo who can manage this process for you, it's not something we get involved with unless we know of a buyer.
