Doing Business in Dubai

We held a really interesting seminar in Dubai a few months ago with our partners at Dubai Trade and Tourism (encouraging more local businesses to thinking internationally).

Have any of the forum members undertaken business in Dubai? What were you experiences? What are the advantages?

Dubai (and the UAE in general) and its free zones have been picking up a lot of interest and pace recently in terms of foreign investment and incorporation.

And with the huge benefits possible such as 0% tax, you can see why. The free zones out there are really something (I listed below some of the main possible benefits that attract foreign investment), as well as the offshore possibilities in areas such as Ras Al Khaimah.

• 0% Corporation tax
• 0% Personal tax
• 100% Foreign ownership
• 100% Repatriation of capital and profits
• No customs duty and no currency restrictions
• No compulsory accounts to be submitted

LOL, we do not have business in Dubai. We have no idea.
