Just searched for engadget and came across the UK version of the site. Most of the links pointing to that site (i'd say at least 60%) seem to be coming from another site called samakalam which i can't even access through my work proxy. I still managed to look at it and it's some foreign site in Punjabi (or something similar). Looking a the backlink profile of that site returns only spam backlinks (literally 85%). All smells very fishy indeed ;-)

oooh, I see. i thought you meant my profile on here. I hadn't noticed that before.

The post isn't on the Uk version anyway but I suppose it's a bit of a red flag.
