Getting fairly frustrated in my search for some good commission only sales agents. Talking to one company a lot of cost involved but willing to invest.

Does anyone know any indiviudal sales agents or in fact use them? I know many have a portfolio of products..

Thanks

Its harder than getting blood from a stone. I've tried getting commission only sales people to assist me but no one seems to want to do it anymore! I think either sales standards are dropping or people are just getting greedy and afraid of a little hard work! I started my job as a commission only sales person because i believed in me and knew that with some hard work i could make a tidy salary, and i did. Now I manage the business. If you do find any interest, i'd be grateful of any info.

Good luck x

I think the trouble people have is as much to do with the companies recruiting.

With competition fierce in all markets, and many companies not honoring agreements it is understandable many people view commission only jobs with a huge amount of suspicion.

I used to work on commission only for over 10yrs and my main problem now is partly to do with the cost of fuel, and an in demand product or service worth selling.

When I ran teams of guys recruiting was hard, but if I had a good product/service I could get over 50 guys on it in under a week, 500 in a month.

Most fellows are in utilities these days.

Why not mention your product or service and the average earnings of your current agents, it might increase the interest levels.

Well...

To the most recent reply. Where did you find the best in the field?

With regard to mentioning current sales agents earnings. The trade journal goes out to the same 300 or so agents every month which gets me thinking why would they want so many new projects? And also if they were my sales agent they'd leave me in the dump.

We've never looked in to the possibility of getting sales agents before however they'll get good commission, I won't restrict them in terms of what else they can do, always pay them bang on time and earlier than their other clients, help them as much as they want in terms of making appointments if they don't want to the direct route which I've normally taken and I've got some leads for them already.

i went and sat outside and waited for staff coming out.

i would chat or get to know someone within that centre or
business.

i tried all other avenues that would start off really well and then
start dipping.

its not a nice tactic but one that easily pays off if you are
prepared to do it.
