Does anyone know how advanced funding for maternity pay works?

Does anyone know how advanced funding for maternity pay works please?

I have applied for it online but not sure how it works, do they send cheque monthly to the business then I pay on from there or is it lump sum that you have to bank in the business account then pay out each month.
