However if it's used in context then yes.

Type into Google 'I need some mon£y' and they will give you the auto correct suggestion.

I assumed Google will pick it up even in isolation. I don't know any other word other than money that can fill out mon*y. Also, £ looks like an E and I though google would factor that in, but when I tried it on Google search, only when used in context, it shows me financial related results.
