Do you offer your staff an eye test package, or what would make you?

Hi folks,

Doing a little research. I work for a small opticians and obviously we are always looking to attract new business. One market that we have not yet tapped are corporate eyecare packages, for safety or VDU requirement glasses.

I know a lot of major firms have their own package with the national opticians firms, so we are planning to aim at local independent firms.

I was just wondering if any of you who employ staff already take an eyecare package with an opticians and what sort of deals you get and if you don't, what might attract you to this.

Yes we send all our staff to have their eyes tested every 12 months.
Can't say what it costs us as I don't deal with that but I know it's pretty cheap.

Organisations owned by the state (police, civil service, etc) are big on this kind of thing.

If you offer your service to the local state sector you might be able to secure a contract for providing eye tests.

Would it be possible for you to offer a mobile service?

You might find more small businesses would use the service if it meant less time away from work for their employees.
