Do you need indemnity insurance for a mobile caterer?

You mean public liability cover? If you have this already, then it may be best to ask this question of your existing insurer.

Its possible to kill someone with (bad) food, so I agree with you making absolutely certain you are covered.

It might be worth talking to an insurance broker, as they should know precisely what you need. There are plenty about, so shop around. PolicyBee (policybee.co.uk) have popped up before and seemed to offer good advice.

* Hangs Head In Shame * - I will be back to that post in a little while. I work for a pretty big company & whilst the fireworks are sold by one of the group directors its not a director on the insurance side (so dont have anything to do with that side) But I did honestly want to check that they are a good deal (I know nothing about fireworks) - I just dont think I put it across very well (Just waiting for the animal side to die down in that thread before I make my return !) - I think its just that the website was developed by the same team hence why it came up.
