Good evening all,
I understand the form and legal requirements for which company information needs to be put on stationery and that it seems that business cards are not deemed to be stationery in the same sense as letterheads, websites, emails and invoices etc.
Information about company and letterhead -
Lets say my company is called "My Property Development Ltd"
On the top left of the letterhead I have a logo ("the logo") consisting of a symbol and the words "My Property Development" in brand colours and font.
Then on the top right of the letterhead there is an address with the full name of the company -
My Property Development Ltd
A Street
A Town
A post Code
At the foot of the letterhead is - My Property Development Ltd - Registered office as above - Registered in England and Wales - Registration number 123456
There is a phone number and email address also.
I would sign the letter My Name, Director.
As far as I am concerned this meets all legal requirements. I am not VAT registered so that is not needed.
My query relates to whether or not "ltd" should follow after the company name in a logo and whether ltd should be stated anywhere on a business card if not needed in logo.
I am using both sides of the business card. On one side is a large version of "the logo" in brand colours.
On the reverse is a small version of "the logo" with the following information -
My Name
Director
phone, email, website.
Firstly, does the logo have to have ltd after the name
Secondly, do I have to put the full name of My Property Development Ltd anywhere on the buiness card? i.e. do I have to indicate that My Property Development is a Ltd company on the business cards, especially in light of putting "director"
Please forgive the lengthy post but I felt it better to be clear about the whole situation and information I have used and where. Before going to the expense of printing I wanted to iron this out.
Many thanks
