Can anyone recommend any websites where you can make your own Ecommerce sites for someone who knows absolutely nothing about web design whatsoever?

The Create sites are perfect and easy to use and I need something similar (too many eggs in one basket).

I have looked at Big Commerce and various others but they are too complicated and you need some experience.

Any suggestions?

I work for Tiger Commerce so I would recommend them - http://www.tigercommerce.co.uk/.

Have spent a day sorting out a site. Everything was fine - great in fact -until I got to category management and product options. I don't think I have ever seen anything so complicated! I'm getting there slowly but it's not very logical.

It keeps getting stuck as well which is adding to my frustration. Not sure if it the site, my computer or browser incompatibility.

I strongly recommend Magento ecommerce, the best platform out there. Feature rich, flexible and robust good for any store you want to integrate.
If you need professional help drop us a message.

Cheers!

It's working fine this morning so I think there must have been something wrong yesterday.

Now that it's working how it's meant to, it looks great!

Strangely, I was speaking to a customer on the phone yesterday, who had just set up her own website with Create and was saying how easy it was.

I can never understand all the reccommendations for Magento when deniser quite clearly stated that she wanted something simple that she could set up herself, and quickly.

I have now gone back to Create.

Tiger is good for functionality but not good for product options and the design, whatever you do to it, still looks very masculine. Not really appropriate for clothing but would be good for eg. electrical goods.

The design aspects are better IMO in Create although the features are less.
