Distributors - Vdepot

Anyone used vDepot. www.vdepot.co.uk

I'm currently looking at using them to distribute and store my card games.
It all sounds really good - they give you an online stock management control, they store and distribute the product saving time for me especially as I am looking at distributing over 5,000 decks to schools.

I would apprectiate if anyone knows anything about them..one thing I can't get is their location...am I missing the link or something ?

I know you're growing big now, but i would hate to give up control of my stocks!! At least when you've got them you can ship when YOU want, not when it pleases someone else.

Yes, that's why I'm feeling a bit nauseous at the thought....but I'm currently using my parents (!!!) house as a storage and distribution facility.

I'm expecting 10k decks to be printed in a couple of months and I want to streamline my distribution system...so it's a case of wieghing my options.

I have communicated with "Moneyman" from Livewire in the past and he is involved in Vdepot. I have only heard good things about them and we will be using them in the future.

Anglo-sino - I've sent the same question on the shelllive wire forum as well to see if anyone else will use them. It does make my life easy really but at the moment I will see how effective the marketing campaign is. Will speak to Vdepot about costs but as I've not heard from anyone else I don't know what to make of their costs. Doing a bit of digging for 'Moneyman's posts it seems it only good for fast turn around goods e.g. 2months max. But some of my stock does get carried for longer than this...although admittedly I've not marketed them since April 2006.

Hi we supply the despatch notes with integrated labels that Vdepot use through our parent company EACS

Our experiences with Vdepot is they are a very professional outfit and are always happy to help. Why not visit them at ECMOD Earls Court in october they are exhibiting there and so are we.
