I have read the DSR (Distance Selling Rules) many times, but can't get my head round some vague details.
The 1st one relates to the refund of the item and the delivery cost. It does not however mention refund of the handling cost. It is by all accounts a separate cost that many business could be faced with. Can the handling cost be withheld?
The 2nd one relates to the delivery of goods across borders. Whilst an item might cost next to nothing to send within the borders of a country, it could cost many times that if sent outside the country that the goods have been ordered from. Does the delivery cost still have to be refunded in full or otherwise if it is across borders?
Is there anyone who can throw more light on these points, or got a link where further clarification can be found?
