Disciplinary / Redundancy Question

The company I work for is making a number of redundancies - I am a rep for our studio. The Group Consultation period is over and we are entering the Individual Consultation.

I have been asked by a colleague to sit in on his meeting tomorrow. He will find out his scores on his assessment forms. One of the assessed criteria is that of Disciplinary Record. The form takes into account his record within the last 2 years (stated on the form).

The score is as follows -

10 - No Disciplinary Record
5 - Written Warning
0- Final written warning

He had a written warning in July 2010 - which was to last for 1yr on his record. My question is should this give him a 5 on his score? I would argue that as the misdemeanour was longer ago than 2 yrs it shouldn't, though the period of warning falls inside it.

Any advice would be most welcome.
