Hi, i have a really nice directory website that i built and launched about a year ago. It has approx 800 listings on and is a nice little site that could quite easily and quickly be monetised soon.

I just don't have the time to run the site anymore due to work commitments but dont want to see the site just die because of me.

If i want to sell this site for just £75 or so to get a quick sale, can anyone recommend any good, quick websites that i could register on for the sale?

Its not a lot of money for the work that has gone in but i just need a quick sale and to carry on with my new job without worrying about the website.

Flippa is pretty popular marketplace for selling websites. I'm sure if you advertised it here you'd get some interest too.

Sure christine - it advertises bed and breakfasts and guesthouses.

I personally believe that with all recent Google algorithm updates - the power of web directories is going down.. there's so many of them out there already.
Unless it's very good - you won't get a sale at all - although some people might grab it just to build up their links and then £75 isn't that expensive at all.

Flippa is a good option, but it is paid as far as I know. I believe there might be some places, where you can advertise the website. How about craigslist or gumtree?
