Digital Marketing Mentoring?

Hi, I was wondering whether anyone offers mentoring when it comes to digital marketing (website/SEO/PPC etc.). I run a fairly well established mountaineering guiding and instructional company based in the Scottish Highlands, and in order to grow (and stay ahead of the ever growing competition), feel that we could do with some mentoring when it comes to growing our business on-line.

There are two of us, both mountain guides, within the company (we also hire freelance staff when we're busy), and both of us are reasonably switched on when it comes to navigating our way around all things IT, however, neither of us would claim to be anything close to experts when it comes to the digital world. That said, we're not short of ideas and initiative (I don't think!).

I know that many digital marketing companies will offer their services to take care of your digital marketing for a set fee per month, but we feel that rather than handing it all over, there's a lot that we can do ourselves (as well as plenty that we would happily pay for someone's time for). I would rather have a more dynamic set-up, as I'm sure that during some periods, the two of us could do quite a bit of the necessary work (perhaps with some guidance), and others where we would prefer to hand it over completely.

I would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts regarding this...

Hi Ken

I've been providing casual (as and when required) marketing mentoring for lots of people over the last decade alongside long term clients, so I'd be interested in talking to you. Pm me if you'd like a chat.

Regards

I've done this for Google AdWords campaigns for several of my clients.

We normally do the initial heavy lifting to make sure that everything is set up right and then the client takes over the day-to-day (or, more realistically, the month-to-month) operation and management, with me available if they have questions, or want advice.

It works pretty well. Yell if you'd like to talk it over to see if this kind of arrangement would be a good fit for your business.
