Hi All!

I'm currently in the process of setting up my own digital marketing business. My target market is going to be small businesses looking to increase their online presence and conversion rate.

I am doing some research and would love your feedback on my 60 second survey?

I would absolutely love your feedback and it would help me massively in my start up!

Thanks everyone!

The issue with the survey (as feedback) is that you don't know who is responding from which sector / industry or how big their business is - just just know their job title so it will be tricky to work with that 'market research'

(I have completed it - did not leave email address as we offer similar services from what I gather)

Guys, firstly I have not forced anyone to give their email address. It is completely optional and states that on the survey. Maybe I will remove this question from the survey entirely.

What I am trying to do is gather honest feedback from small businesses to see if they match my buyer persona and discover any trends in what they need to enhance their online presence.

Thank you for some constructive feedback @ Breakline UK & Hazel C.

Food for thought in the surveying UK SME's (mostly small to micro businesses)...

1) Most business owners have no idea what channel does what, in terms of lead gen, nurturing, conversions, cost to implement campaigns and ROI.
2) Most business owners have a very good idea as to whether they need to get more footfall, more enquiries, to be able to convert enquiries into sales at a higher rate.
3) Many do ask, when a new customer calls on the phone, where did they hear about them. So, they may knowing what's making the phone ring currently, know what they're spending on Yell/Yelp, Adwords, website hosting, flyers stuffed in doors, etc, and if they've spent any on SEO.

I'd be willing to bet that most of these micro and small businesses would not be looking for improved conversion RATES, but rather improved conversion COUNTS. Attracting more quality leads that turn into sales...

questions like "how interested are you in digital marketing for your business?" aren't going to tell you much. Everyone has a different definition of digital marketing and being interested does mean that they'll do anything about it.

How many people are interested in cheaper energy at home? Pretty much everyone.
How many people actually look around and switch supplier regularly? very few.
