Difference between "Top titles" and "Top Searches"

I am spending money advertising on a recruitment site. I got a call from one of their sales people who were trying to sell me their "Sponsored Package" for £2k a month. I get top results on their site by scaling how much I pay per click on their web site for a lot less than £2k.

Anyway, the sales person told me that they do advise Sponsored Advertisers (hoping I would be one) of their "Top Titles" and "Top Searches" for the jobs I am advertising. She then proceeded to tell me what the top four titles and top for search terms where for that job.

What I wanted to know is does anyone know what the difference is between "Top Titles" and "Top Searches"?

Is it that top titles is what is searched for on their own site and top searches might be searches people do on search engines? The sales person did not seem to know. I just want to know how to best to title my ad on that site given the sales people are no longer interested in me.

Personally, I would assume:

Top Searches => The top search terms people use to find a job similar to the one you're advertising (via the website's own search function?)

Top Titles => The advert titles which yield the most results from people seeking a job similar to the one you're advertising

It's open to different interpretations though, surely only the site can clarify exactly what their definitions of these terms would be.

Thanks for the response. I really was hoping that wouldn't be the case and this was somehow standard internet marketing speak. But hey ho ..

I am hoping that it is ok to say the web site is Indeed.
