I have been round the houses with no joy so I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me with this.
1. The shows I do are essentially dial-in shows. They depend A LOT on people calling into the virtual studio to give their 10 cents. My callers call mainly from 3 countries: UK, US and Nigeria. For this reason, even though Spreaker likes Skype (which has rubbish audio for me anyway), I chose to use Free Conference Call as my call-in platform. They offer local numbers for the countries that have my demographic and that works just fine for me.
2. I connect the FCC service to Spreaker via VB CABLE (which is what Spreaker recommends for Skype)
3. I recorded an audio and while my voice was clear (I'm the host and was dialled directly into Spreaker), the callers were not as clear. There was a staccato effect where the callers kept fading in and out. I'm told this is called dropped packets or something?
Finally, I need a solution that is easy and internet/cloud-based if possible. This is because we are planning to rotate the hosting of the shows between 3 people and I don’t want them all to have to go out and buy cords and cables etc. None of us are making money from this for now.
