Hi all
Hoping you can help me. We will soon be hitting the VAT threshold, Majority of sales come from Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
Each week I can donwnload a statement that says "you will receive £xx from card sales" and "£xx from your cash sales" however, this doesn't seem to split out how much is VAT.
One their statement where they have charged commission or admin fees I can see the VAT amount.
Typically I take the statement each week and enter a few lines in Quickbooks
Product Sales £xx
Commissions -£xx
Admin fee -£xx
How do I get the VAT amount from my income? Does anyone have experience of these channels and how have they overcome it. I could just type in 20% VAT on all sales but that wouldn't be true as No VAT on some items (cold sales).
Really appreciate your response
Would generally like to heard from anyone who uses these channels and how they manage that in Quickbooks.
Thanks
Reena
