Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help.

I run a small online academy which works via a subscription based service where customers are tied in for a specific period.

The problem is, i have been getting a few non payers. Its not masses amounts but it does mount up.

Can anyone help in recovering?

TIA

If it’s subscription surely you have a payment system set up that cancels the service if money isn’t in the bank.

Struggling a bit here to see how non-payers are a problem.

What do you mean by 'Provide GCSE Astronomy'? Is it a single delivery (if so, why stage payments), or a multi-stage. If so can you not just stop providing.

In terms of collections you are on tough ground, but legally (you need to follow a clear legal process) and practically, dealing with skint students.

Depending on the process, you could potentially look at Klarna or similar - since they are in the business of collecting money

I collect money via gocardless to provide gcse astronomy. If the stop they're mandate before completing the agreed number of payments that means I lose money.
You aren’t losing money. You just aren’t making as much as you hoped.

The simple solution is a single whole course or full term payment in advance.

Hi, I'm new on here so have only just come across your thread. Is this still an issue for you?
