Looking ot launch a site providing offers.
I appreciate to compete with Group on and Living Social is a massive ask. Just like it is with Amazon etc.
But then rather than compete, maybe I could offer something different
However I have spoken to a friend whose company put a Group On offer on.
They advised that the % was in Group On's favour, they take a very long time to pay and they don't pay you if the customer doesn't actually use the deal etc.
So if started off slowly in my local city and then build a great reputation before launching in the next town / city.
Offer a more competitive % with retailer.
Also if a cusomter buys a deal, pay the retailer even if the customer doesn't actually use it.
I know what puts a lot of retailers off is that a lof of customers are not repeat customers but then I am honest and advise the retailer that a lof of people are just looking for a good deal.
Am I wasting my time trying to build a site like that.
Any help or advice would be gratefully received.
