sorry one should not poke fun at those you feel are asking silly questions

the data protecion act is a legal thing to do with how you store information

you dont become a member you have to comply with its requirements

I am sure others with more knowledge will coreect any inaccuracies I have given you

a small fee and a form filling initially for registration to comply with the Act. I can certainly go into it here in more depth, but can I ask why you want to be registered and what sort of data you retain so I can put more specific stuff up or provide a link? Its a dry enough subject to just talk about in general terms as you might imagine!
