Cut off times and delivery choices

It would be really helpful to me if those with Ecommerce sites could let me know:

1. what delivery choices you give
2. what your cut off time is for next day delivery ie. what time the order has to be placed by for next day delivery to take place

Some of our sites use digital delivery which is instant (and hard to compete with by bricks and mortar stores).

Others use only Royal Mail 1st class, with no other options. This makes it easy to commoditise the delivery process, advise buyers on expected delivery times, etc, etc. The goal of those sites is winning on price obviously.

If you're looking to compete with the big players in your niche, then see what they offer and give the same choices if not more/better for the same pricing.
