Hi,
We currently have a database with customer contact details, but quite often the contact is in the accounts dept rather than the decision maker. We have made changes so that new orders take this into account, but I want to update the database of existing customers, but rather phoning each one individually (extremely time consuming!) I wondered about sending a letter or survey with their invoice (we are a telecommunications company).
A survey could be used as research as well as data collection, but I know that they have very low response rates. A letter on the other hand could make it 'mandatory' to reply and maybe increase response rates.
I wondered if anyone had any advice, or maybe creative ideas?! Thanks!
