Customer data capture and quotation system/CRM?

We are about to employ an admin assistant to help with taking telephone sales orders and providing quotations. At the moment, I do this manually but we would like to purchase a system to do this for us, so myself and the admin assistant can access the records at the same time, and so we have a more user friendly system.

We need it to take details about a customers home, and for it to work out and provide a quotation using the information provided and then we would like it to link to either quickbooks or Xero for invoicing the customer. Does such a thing exist or would this have to be specially made?

most CRM systems including our Amphis Customer can handle capturing the customer details and sharing the database between multiple users.

most CRMs don't handle Quotes and Invoices though. Amphis Customer does create Quotes and Invoices so it may be worth you taking a look. it can export Customers and Invoices in Sage format which may be suitable for you as well as emailing Quotes and Invoices directly to the customer. it also supports custom fields which you may need to record the details about the home required to generate the Quote. there is a free trial link below.

I have used a CRM platform called Sales-i to do exactly what you have described above. Sales-i CRM software is highly customisable so you purchase your licences and then work with the guys and girls at their office to get exactly the system you are looking for. I started off by looking at Sales Force as our CRM platform but it simply offered more than I needed. Sales-i offered me exactly what I needed without any of the unnecessary extras.
