Custom Packaging

Hi there,

I have a very small product (2x 45mm by 10mm) weighing 15 grams.

Ideally it would need to be cardboard with a cardboard insert to hold both of the items in place, I have the product already in my posession so I would have to put the products in myself. My manufacturer will only allow custom packaging if I order 2000 units which at £4 a unit is way out of my budget for what seems a slow moving product as well currently.

The product has had some interest from stores within the biking niche who would like to stock my product so I feel I need a more retail focused packaging. I have previously uses quirky cigarette boxes with a foam cut out inside but these aren't printed.

Can anyone recommend a company within the UK to do this?

Why does it need to be cardboard? Would a small blister pack not suffice? I would suggest a recloseabel plastic blister with a label, or a blister on board with a printed insert card.

Not environmentally friendly but probably the most cost effective solution for you at the moment. Any dedicated box packaging in low volume is going to cost you an arm and a leg no matter what, there's no way around that.

Have a word with kite packaging as they can create custom boxes. I can get silk lined presentation cases from MM Bell for that price.
