credit checks?

There's also callcredit too, but the previous two seem to have more 'tweaks'. You can get a credit file off each three, but there are some great products out there expanding on credit reference, depending if it's for companies or personal. I've just signed up for credit expert, where I can access my own file online, as well as be notified if there's variations, etc.

Company wise, you can do reports on a firm to assess credit worthyness, get financial reports etc - it's really a massive field, but would probably need determine your requirements to 'drill down' advice.

happy hunting !

The OP should get credit reports from both Equifax and Experian because some lenders/providers use one or the other and therefore data may differ.

If you are applying for credit you can ask the lender/provider which Credit Reference Agency they use in the event one report is worse than the other.

Equifax are rude and customer service is rubbish.

Then you should complain, I'm sure that if an employee of mine was rude I would want to know about it, as I would if my staff were unhelpful.

The best policy is ask for the name of the person on the end of the phone if its isn't offered before you start and write it down. Then you can mention to xxxxxxx that they aren't being helpful and that you would like to speak to somebody in a more senior position. If they cut you off, and they sometimes do! ring back and make the complaint.

How is the level of service going to improve if the people who can make a difference don't know about it?

And breath.........
