Creative ideas for electrician slogan?

    Does anyone have any ideas for a tagline/slogan for a company of electricians? We're trying to think of something short but memorable to put under our logo on our letterheads and I haven't had my required pint of afternoon coffee yet!

    Background: we have an electrical retail shop as well as fully qualified home-visit electricians. We're in a fairly small town, and we have a good local reputation for quality workmanship. The company has been family-owned since 1987.

    We're a small company but we have lots of loyal customers who keep coming back because we're considered to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and we deal with any size of electrical job. We're trying to get what we do and some of those selling points across in the tagline.

    Any inspiration welcome!

    Umm... this is never an easy one!

    Just a couple of suggestions:

    'Keeping You Wired'
    'We're Switched On'

    You may also want to reflect you have been trading since 1987... as this portrays a lot about your company... so even something like 'Establised Since 1987' or 'Enlightening Since 1987'

    Our reputation needs no plug
    The power-packed team
    Light years ahead
    See the light
    Charging ahead
    The live wires
    Doing a power of good

    It would help if we knew your name and your town, because you could build in alliteration or rhyme eg
    Lighting up Leamington
    Leading lights of Leatherhead
    When you blow a fuse, call on Hughes

    Newton - a force to be reckoned with
    Newton - keeping Teignmouth (or Devon or the south-west) in motion

    Of course if your customers don't know that a newton is a unit of force, or have never heard of Newtons laws of motion, then they're not such great ideas. Sorry, but couldn't think of anything using apples and gravity.

    I was trying to think of something to do with Newton, too. I suppose their are people that might not get it. You want your slogan to appeal to everyone. :|

    why not combine the two?

    you know the old "lightbulb" above the head for a eureka moment?...what about replacing it with an apple....cover both the bases...or has that been done already, and I'm just "feeding a chick"???:|
