Hi,
I'd been fortunately until now to work for companies who'd write annual leave as 20 days + bank holidays or the 5.6 weeks allowance inclusive in contracts.
I've had an Employer who had it in their contract holidays were an overall max of 20 days (and out of this their contract said they take bank & public holidays out of these 4 weeks) another company has said this could be done like this, but they were not sure how it's worked out for someone starting part way though a holiday year which makes me wonder if the four weeks is worked out differently across a year as an employee left with 11 or 12 days of their choosing? or do you need to have been in the employment simply where there are bank holidays happening to get holiday pay?
Thank you for any help.
