Good morning

Before I jump in with my question I wanted to say I have done lot's of research and been a watcher of many forum's to give me an understanding of what I am going into.

I am preparing an application for CIMA MiP and building a pack before jumping ahead on the application.

I have over 20 years in-house experience covering SME support, Audit, Taxation and business partnering and would like to build my own practice. Currently studying ATT to get my tax exposure increased as CIMA is not heavily tax orientated.

I am looking to build a network of fellow MiP's in the local area/remotely so I can learn about other people's experience. I have joined groups on LinkedIn which has been helpful too but response limited. Part of my application is inevitably to have a continuity partner so as part of my networking looking for someone who would be willing to be my partner and also someone who I can reach out to for help and support and vice versa.

Thanks for reading

I'll give you one enormous tip and simultaneously push your posting up the list so others can read it and add their 30 cents worth.

Tip - in your line of work, attention to detail is everything. Your opening sentence has three glaring mistakes in it. I realise that this is just a forum, but please remember when contacting prospective clients, partners, or officialdom, that such things put people off. Today, an apostrophe where none is needed and 'going' instead of 'getting' - tomorrow perhaps the decimal point goes in the wrong place!
