Consultant networking

I am thinking of setting up a database of consultants, the services they provide, and what areas they trade in.

This would allow any member of the network to refer clients to a consultant meeting their needs in their area.

Any interest?

Sounds like a worthwhile idea, however I'm not sure how many members of this forum would classify themselves as consultants.

PC builds, upgrades and technical support

Network design, builds, configuration and troubleshooting

Wireless networking?

I would think about signing up for something like this but I would need to know how you plan to connect employers to consultants as I like to sound out a company before they are on the phone asking me to work for them

How would you suggest we connect employers to consultants?

The current plan is to have an online database of consultants that potential clients can search. This way a client can find a consultant in their area providing the services they require.
