Confusion over use types for bakery.

Hi all, this is my first post on my way to starting my own business. I have been doing some research on property and I am confused over the use types for a bakery.
I have been looking at property that is already a bakery but they all seem to have the A3 use type, however, I am told that now bakeries must be a A5 use type as the food is consumed off premises (same as a takeaway). Is this correct and how difficult is it to change an A3 to an A5?

Quick solution, ring your local planning office. They will tell you exactly what their rules are.

I spoke to my local planning office, apparently bakeries that where previously set up prior to 2008 i think he said would automatically have A3. I have been told to ask the landlord to change it for us or it can simply be changed by putting in an application and it will more than likly be approved. Thanks for your reply.
