Conference Call

Can anyone recommend a conference call provider that would allow multi-user conference calls - the sort where you give users a dial-in number and a meeting code?

I'm aware of http://www.mymeetings.com and http://conferencing.verizonbusiness.com but they both seem geared up to the large user.

I'm looking for predominantly UK only, but there will be some USA and UAE callers from time to time too.

Don't know how competitive they are but we used BT MeetMe loads internally when I was working for BT and it's available to external customers too, also has Global Access options to provide local numbers for out-of-UK participants - one to look at

How often do you need to use conferences? It it's more than a couple of times a week it might be worth setting up your own conference bridge. What would be the maximum number of callers?

We own a conference calling company Powwownow, take a look, you can have callers from 14 difference countries and upto 100 people on a conference call and all you pay is the cost of a 0870 call approx 6p per minute, there are no other bills.

I confrence call most days with 30 other people who have speaking rights and the others are only able to listen. Now that is done via one of my clients who have the ability to run the calls themselves. Is that something you could offer?

This is certainly something we can offer with our audiocast product, where you can have upto 32 active participants and many others just with listening rights. everyone pays their own call fee at 6.7pence per minute on an 0870 number, you recieve no bills from us.
