.com is actually the USA domain so of no value over the .co.uk if you are trading in the UK, if anything the .co.uk will be more beneficial.

I’ve just purchased the .co.uk for 99p, you can have it for £387.24 if you are interested.

Personally I wouldn't use a company who decided to register a domain with a TLD of Columbia. Fortunately Toby hasn't registered companyfoods.co.uk yet so you should before someone else does.
