Company House Occupation

Hey everyone, I hope you are well.

I just need some clarification, if you don't mind, please.

So, on my company house page the field for "Occupation" appears as my current full-time job title. Keeping in mind, my business is not my full-time job.

Is this correct?

Companies House will list whatever you told them your occupation is. If what is listed doesn't match your role in the company, you can change it. You could simply change it to Director, without giving any further details.

Occupation can be changed as per above link.

I don't like Director as an occupation because in most cases there is actually a relevant occupation, but it can be a vanity thing.

It really doesn't mean much these days what it says there; generally most people do just put 'Director'

The real answer is - it doesn't matter, unless you actually want to highlight some specific relevance
