Hi Guys

My first post and its about Company Formation :D
There are many posts on here asked about company formation agents, and a google UK search of Company Formation gives back 22,400,000 results.

So I am not short finding company formation agent. But does it matter what one I go for?

However I had a few questions about the services offered.
1) Why do some agents offer Directors Service Address? Apart from image, is giving a home address a problem?
1b) If i do go for the "fancy" London addresses, would this be a problem, maybe a letter for me is sent there or something, because they could not find a mailing address for me?
2) Bound Memorandum & Articles of Association, do i need this, would it be better to have this?
3) Printed documents, is having digital copies only a problem down the line?

Thank

K

Don't go for the cheapie formations as they only give the bare minimum.

Make sure you get the full Company Register included with the initial entries written up. It is a Statutory requirement to keep a Company Register which is open for public inspection.

full Company Register included with the initial entries written up
This means, Bound Memorandum & Articles of Association and Printed Minutes of First Board Meeting?

If so I was thinking of the Privacy Plus package on 1stformations

Its another source of income for the agents.

I think a lot of people in business instantly recognise what the London address is.

I have a few clients who use a registered office address and the main practical issue they have is getting post on a timely basis. It seems a lot of post especially from HMRC in brown envelopes isnt always forwarded.

Combined Company Register includes Register of Members, Directors, Share Allotments & transfers.

I asked 4 companies about this, non of them are doing full Combined Company Register which includes with the initial entries written up, no matter how much the package costs.

Do you have any recommendations?

This forum was started by Richard Osborne of Quick Formations and that is the company that I used when I went limited.

I will ask them about full Combined Company Register which includes with the initial entries written up

I know that the accountants on here are sticklers for doing everything correctly but small companies tend not to bother with such things. I certainly haven't sat there with myself having board minutes and minuting them afterwards

1st Formations do it via their all inclusive package- digital company register with first entries.

OK so what I should be looking for is Copy of Company Register with First Entries (this could be digital or printed?)

When I emailed them to asked "is they provide a full Combined Company Register which includes with the initial entries written up"
They said no
