Hi All
Hope everyone is well and staying safe given the current situation.
I am working on a prototype for an app and would like to put a demo video/screenshots on a landing page website, whereby people can 'register interest' by leaving their email address. This will give me an initial sense of proof of concept and if there is significant interest, whether it is something worth pursuing.
My question is - can I do this without registering a ltd company or as a sole trader. My initial assumption is that it would be fine to do so as I am not monetising the site in any way and it will not function as a business in that it will not produce any revenue.
Should there be sufficient interest in the app, I will be going ahead with a proper build and launch and of course be looking to formally register as a ltd company.
