company authentication code

Quite a simple question really but one which despite lots of online searches I have not found an answer to

I recently requested my company authentication code, however it has yet to arrive and because I need it within the next two weeks I am considering requesting it again.

My question is - Does the code stay the same regardless of how many times I request it, or is a new one created each time I ask for it to be sent?

I ask this because while the original request was 10 days ago it may still arrive, yet if its been overridden by a second request I wont be able to use it
