Hello people, I need a little bit of help from anyone willing to spare a few moment.

Background: I started a small cleaning company in 2014 for some extra money (was meant to only be me), very luckily I got a few commercial cleaning contracts which have been steady for me and it meant I could hire some people to help with the work.

I now would like to look into getting more business (not expanding into different areas, just wanting more work).

I am proud of my company and give the highest possible service (which can at time be difficult when other people are cleaning for you), I have audits completed on all cleaner twice a month and have 1-to-1's with them to ensure they understand what they are doing well and what they need to improve on .

Questions: My question is how would you try getting more business for a commercial cleaning businesses? What are the best ways? Letters, phone calls, leaflets...

I would like to know, in all you lovely peoples opinion, is the best way to get more business.

Thank You

Office Cleaning

With respect, you would be utterly wasting your time phoning people, maybe 15 years ago, and even then it was hard work. Who on earth is going to keep an electronic flyer? These go in the trash/spam folder. Dont bother with leaflets or letters either would be my advice. Again back in the day they worked but not now.
Everyone goes online when they want something - you just did when asking this question, so that's where you need to be seen. How? Well there's whole forum sections here on ppc and seo you could research and a plethora of websites/resources out there. Be careful though as there a lots of sharks out there willing to take your hard earned money Good luck!

Hello Adam

Im in the process of setting up my cleaning business and wondering if you could offer any advice. I would like to employ 5 cleaners to start with as I have done abit of advertising already and I am receiving a fair bit of work. My company is a registered limited company and I also have public liability insurance. My question is the method of employment, I am unsure wether to have my cleaners as self employed staff where I would charge clients a booking fee and the cleaner is paid cash or have them on another contract whereby I would be responsible for their PAYE and all funds from the client would be paid directly to me.

Does anyone know anything about this area? what would be the best method and contracts?

Thank you in advance
