Do people like the idea of shared working space? We have just opened a co-working space in Putney "Co-Work Putney" and would like to know what other users of this forum think of the concept?

I think it's great and definitely shouldn't be limited to just London.

Cheaper than your own office, more sociable than your home office, the chance to network and swap knowledge.

I'd love to take personally take this concept a step further and have a villa in Spain, office in the UK and chalet in the French Alps. Where co workers could have time in between all offices.

Work, network, socialise, snowboard/ski, kitesurf, chill by the pool. It's my dream.

Is Putney the only area you cover? I would love to do co working in Camden - I think its a brilliant idea and an alternative to a virtual office which is what I was looking at. Included in the price is 2 hours of desk time each month for meetings.

Do you have a web address I can look at?

Thanks - great site! And so I pay that fee for 4 weeks minimum and then I can stay for the whole day or one hour. Do I have that right?

I think I had in mind that it might be a little more flexible. Like if I am meeting someone tomorrow and Friday I could just book in for that time - or if I wanted to host a small meeting of 8-10 people I could just book the space when I need it. I have my own home office - I just want a space to meet people outside of it.

Co working is great, and I would recommend it, especially if you are in London and you want wanting to save on some rental costs.
There will always be some issues working with a group of people, but most of them are professional and you won't have any trouble. The obvious trouble ones if if you are mainly an admin type service company and you co work with a construction company, you can expect more noise :)
