Client needs their website cloned

We have a new client who through no fault of their own finds themselves without any kind of back end access to their wordpress website. The current developer has disappeared into the ether and isn't responding. The host won't deal with us or the client as their client is the developer. Password resets are going to the old developer - we assume.

It's a very simple site, built using the rebound theme and has about 10 pages. If anyone fancies a small project to clone it as is then please DM me and I'll provide the link.

do you have any sort of hosting access e.g. ftp? Without it you would have to rebuild the site manually I am afraid. There are tools out there that will make a copy of the site content and download all images etc but they can't create a WP site from it or download themes and plugins.

By back-end access I'm hoping you mean to the hosting environment and they have a WP login. If they do and it has admin rights then there are a few plugins that may be able to clone the site for you, although you need to pick one that downloads the backup for you rather than drop it onto the server you can't access.

Thanks for the messages both. Nope no access at all to ftp, WP or CPanel etc. We have had some people in touch and we have someone on the case so thanks for all the interest but we should be sorted. UKBF comes to the rescue again!
