Hi Jane

Clickbank works in much the same way as Amazon affiliates, except you get to see better stats on how well those products are selling, such as Gravity and percentage of sales that you'll receive. I've had success by picking products that have a gravity of 70% or higher.

I think it's all in dollars on Clickbank, so if someone chooses to buy a product that you're promoting on your site, from Clickbank, they will be billed in dollars. Payment is completely secure, just as it is with Amazon.

Hope that helps answer your question, but let me know if you have any further questions.

ClickBank is an affiliate network. It has 2 sides to it. The Affiliate(those who promote other peoples products for a commision) and a Vendor (those who sell their own product) That's the obvious part. The Major diffrence between CB and othe affiliate networks is most products sold currently are digital downloads.

ClickBank processes sales in the following currencies:
AUD Australian Dollar
CAD Canadian Dollar
CHF Swiss Franc
DKK Danish Krone
EUR Euro
GBP British Pound
HKD Hong Kong Dollar
JPY Japanese Yen
NOK Norwegian Kroner
NZD New Zealand Dollar
SEK Swedish Krona
USD United States Dollar
ZAR South African Rand

All transactions are applied to your account in U.S. Dollars. For products priced in U.S. Dollars (most products), the amount applied to your account will always be based on the U.S. Dollar price - the currency the customer chooses to purchase in does not affect the U.S. Dollar amount applied to your account. For products priced in a currency other than U.S. Dollars, transactions are converted to U.S. Dollars and applied to your account using an exchange rate acquired by ClickBank in conjunction with our foreign currency partners at the time of the purchase. This exchange rate is updated once per day. Returns and revokes utilize the same exchange rate that was associated with the original purchase. ClickBank's determination of exchange rates is final.

For futher details See their Account Policy:

Hope this Helps

clickbank products can do really well if you have a targeted audience hungry for info!

I have good results with Amazon but in the UK there is a cap of £7 commission whatever the price of the products so it's a volume game.

With Clickbank many ebooks, training products, software etc go for $27 - $149 and you get normally 50% and more, therefore high earning potential is good.

Good products to promote are membership sites because as an affiliate you get paid every month as long as the person stays with the programme.

As a sidenote I have an affiliate scheme of my own coming up very soon.
If you have a biz/expert/marketing focussed audience interested in making their own videos, check my site. You'll get 50% in pounds sent straight to your account!

You can sign up in the footer of my page (via my signature) to get more info.

any ideas how to sell promote anything?

Post to Gumtree and Craigslist, I do work from home jobs and bizop offers, Mystery Shopping niche is hot for me at the moment getting 5-10 sales a day. But remember to use proxy's or outsource postings, I use microworkers to do my posts on Gumtree and buy PVA's and proxy's for Craigslist when posting in US sections.

But this is an extremely blackhat method I use but very profitable.
