Good afternoon..
I have recently become a self employed electrician and am slowly working out what I can claim for.
The government website (gov.uk) states you can claim up to 10% of maintenance costs made to your ex-partner for looking after your children under 21.
I realise this may be a silly question as I may have already answered it in the above paragraph but can I claim this 10% when I fill out my self assessment tax return? I just want to be certain rather than having misread the government webpage.
Many thanks
