Cisco 1941 - how to set up wireless

Having a EFM installed by BT and it comes with a Cisco 1941 router. Appararently WIFI is not enable on this router.

I would like some WIFI and was thinking of using a WIFI extender, so just connect this with an ethernet cable and the extender should provide WIFI.

Is this possible?

Cisco 1941 doesn't have any wifi AP build in. You need to buy a separate wifi AP. If you are a business and VAT registered you can get a cisco meraki wifi for free and they are wifi workhorse beastshttps://meraki.cisco.com/lp/free-demo-new New they cost around £400 but in my opinion worth it.

Yes, whats your price range for an access point ? ( AP ) you would connect the AP via the Ethernet cable ( RJ45) to the modem and thats pretty much it. After that follow the setup guide from the AP .

See if you can buy one off the following brands: Draytek, Ubiquiti UniFi AP, Cisco depending on your budget. Also you could use any wifi router ( bt, talktalk , sky) and make it an AP too. set it into bridge mode and off you go
