Do you still send them?

We have decided not to bother. We will be seeing family and friends over the festive period so there is a bit of a collective agreement not to.

Same with presents. Not doing them either.

Not grumpy at all. Just don’t see any value in sending a card to someone I see almost every week and will be spending Christmas Day with.

The whole point of the cards was to send greetings to those you wouldn’t be seeing.

Yes I still send cards. Probably write 50 or so out - half go locally and get delivered by hand, half get posted in 3 or 4 packages.

I send e-cards to my close friends and family, and my clients too.

I like the thought of Christmas cards, but don't like the idea of wasting paper.

I don't even wrap presents anymore, I just keep them in the box or re-use old boxes to 'wrap' presents.

As you can tell, I'm very conscious of the environment.

Wife and I don't wrap presents to each other. Often enough just stick them out of sight in a box or a bag until the grand opening after dinner.
Not environmentally conscious, just using all the wrapping paper on family presents.

Accidentally conscious of the environment ;)

That's still environmentally friendly in my books.

I haven’t sent cards to anyone for quite a few years now, and when questioned about it I just says it’s because I’m Dutch and we don’t do it. The easiest way to explain and not get into a conversation about it.

We only get presents for our parents and our kids, although for the first time ever this year and last the list grew a little as the mods here got a little something.

I very much believe in the values Martin Lewis says about not buying tatt or buying people stuff they then feel obligated to reciprocate.

Chatting to the postie yesterday and they aren’t allowed to deliver mail. So it’s unlikely any cards will arrive before the new year. They reckon it will take until February to get everything sorted.
