Chinese broker

I have been talking to a lot of clients who buy products from china.
Its a common occurrence that people are scammed by people who take the cash and don't deliver.
Is there a list anywhere that will give newbies a fighting chance.
If not would anyone like to help start one.
I think it will stop a lot of people wasting their hard earned cash.
And stop these Chinese companies taking us for a ride.
One of my clients has just been scammed out of £8,000. He has found out that the same company has done this to a few others.

I think the best way would be to list trust worthy Chinese brokers

What do you think???

It is a dangerous road. About 12 years ago I ghad a site called 'bouncedcheque.com' if someone bounced a checque on you, you could scan it and upload it together with the company name.

It was almost a very costly mistake, as publicly outing someone (even if you are telling the truth) can be classed as defamation, and you can be sued for loss of earnings as a result of the action.

Tread carefully.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear the occurrence mentioned above.

I am a Chinese seller as a matter of fact, but I hate people make money by deceiving or fooling others, expecially the foreigners at the cost of honest and trustworthiness.Because it not only harms the benefits of the other traders who want to do long business in win-win way,but also hurts the hearts of the clients.More seriously, one peoson's culture represents a national culture sometimes. The behavior of scamming and cheating might influence the less degree of trust and lessen the business communication between countries.

In my opinion, the clients are our friends first and then the cooperators in business area.
And on the basis of keeping personality, why not do business
sincerely,friendly and trustworthily?

Hope these people like fooling, scamming and cheating to be punished, and sincerely hope our foreigners understand that truth is the daughter of the time.

Be careful to choose your right Chinese trade company and pay money in the safe ways.

Welcome to contact me if you want to communicate with more information.

Maybe,I am not best for you,but I will do my best for you!:)

Wishes!

And give them feedback, where if you want to be really worthy, you could verify the buyers leaving feedback.

Hello,

:)It´s very thoughtful of you,and I am very in favor of it.

I don't know why my customers just give us a continuance of order without leaving fedback.
To know why or not, that is a question?
But my boss father told to me that focusing on service and quality with low price, everything goes well.

There are companies based in China which will research a supplier for you, even handle the transportation side. With Alibaba there are a lot of middlemen who claim to be the factories, the MOQs on Alibaba generally means you are dealing with a middleman. Global Sources is more reliable to find a genuine factory but the MOQ's are generally pallet/container volumes.

I'm not sure what you clients where trying to buy but there is 1 simple rule you always have to stick to. You cannot buy branded electronics or clothing direct from China.

I've seen many examples of people who have been told this but still feel it's 'worth a chance' in case they do find an iPhone supplier for £100 each, obviously they always lose their money as no such supplier exists.

Yeah I was wondering if the forum could run it.
I mean a list of Chinese trade suppliers who have delivered with out a doubt.

I know it's a friendly forum but how many will really be interested in sharing their supplier details with everyone.

People spend a lot of time and can lose a lot of money as you have heard trying to find a good supplier, I certainly wouldn't be prepared to give that information away that would allow a competitor to start up risk free.

You only have to look on the forums on Ali Baba to see the amount of people who have been scammed in China,it`s terrifying.

Although they have been named and shamed on there,i do not think it makes a difference, as the scammers seem to change identities whenever they like.

Good point by Barrowmatt, would you really give up the name of a decent supplier you have taken a long time in finding and building a relationship with ?,maybe not.

Why would anyone give away important business information such as trusted suppliers to potential competitors :|

Not homophobic but do we have to use a chinese GAY. :p:rolleyes:

I'm kidding :D

Hehe.
I am a Chinese.
I don't think there are so much of cheating in China.
Just because you don't understand the Chinese rule.
As a Chinese citizen, we can easily distinguish the fraud out.
So to your foreigners, you'd better find a broker or hire a Chinese gay to help you.

It's really sorry to hear that! I am a Chinese seller and also a buyer in China. Scam problems are really making me very headache! Because it really damaging the businessman who has high integrity! Nevertheless, I appreciate those picky and careful clients for me.

Not just you, I heard many biz persons from Africa (you know, now is full of African buyers here in China wholesale markets) talking about scams. They are also one of the victims. I hate this a lot! But at this moment, it seems nothing can do to stop with this. This is what I can see in the short future. It is because there are also many scams happened between Chinese and chinese businesses. So, it's like that! Everytime I make a very careful move when preparing my stocks. I think this is the only way you can do. It is "due diligence and try". Keep the honest one if you have! I came from Hong Kong, I also have to adapt this China Mainland culture long time! So pity, but it's a fact! That's why the trading agency is still working well and earning big bucks here!
