I've just purchased a large amount of small items that I plan to sell on ebay, these items will fit into an envelope easily.

whats the cheapest way to post them? they only sell for £1.59 inc postage on ebay so I need to keep costs down.

thanks in advance :)

Royal Mail for smaller/lighter items is still the Uk's No 1 really for price as they don't have to charge for 'Courier' price services.

If the items fit into an envelope, what size is the envelope?
Are the items flat or 3d
And what do they weigh - crucial info
And whats the average cost of goods - also important

As long as the sim cards are less than 5mm in thickness, which unless im wrong they're about 1mm,

2nd Class: 50p
1st Class: 60p
2nd Class Signed for: £1.60 (Signed for is confirmed signature upon delivery and includes up to £50 insurance/compensation)
1st Class Signed for: £1.70
Special Delivery: £6.22 (Guaranteed next day, Inc comp up to £500)

There are no bulk buy deals sadly.

Hope this helps!

Franking machine is a good way to go if your going to be selling thousands?

The machines themselves cost £100s, average up to around £400, thats a lot of sim cards bearing in mind the stamps cost more than the porduct, to be sold to even make that back.

If your doing lot of other things aswell then possibly.

But add in the time taken to do it all, you still have to go to a post office or a local franking drop box, does it add value for you? (That can only be answered by yourself).
