I always went local as much as I can but my suppliers prices have gone up 20%.

I have found one so far but I wondered if anybody had any tips
2000 A5 leaflets £30.58 incl VAT which is £28 cheaper then my old supplier.

A friend of mine runs a printing company, his energy costs and material costs have all gone through the roof. I mean literally astronomical, so it is no surprise your local suppliers prices have gone up 20%.

Comparing printing isn't always apples with apples. Print quality, paper quality, all play a part.

I have a print company and the paper prices alone have been increasing on an almost monthly basis for the past 12 months or more. That’s without thinking about energy costs etc.

I have to say, OP, I wouldn’t even switch my press on for the kind of price you’ve found online so I couldn’t imagine you finding a better price than you already have. Just make sure you understand the paper thickness and double check they’re A5. Even the trade suppliers I know charge more than that.

Interesting talking to a local business here yesterday that supplies the print trade energy costs going from 65k to 285k. Personally I think any business that has not increased their prices this year will probably not be around for Christmas.
