Cheapest place to register a Limited Company?

After being a sole trader for a year, i'm about to get a premises, which will be buying and selling stock, so after speaking to the bank, we've decided it needs to be registered before the shop opens.

Where is the cheapest place to register Ltd now? I looked into it a while back, but prices would have changed since my research!

Would you ever get discount for two?

Many thanks for any help,

Alex

    Hi Alex,
The cheapest you can get a company formation for is free, if you open a new bank account with the formation agents chosen business bank. However, free isn't necessarily always best :)

Anyway, maybe not the very cheapest but my company is competitive and I'm proud of the service we provide and quality of the materials we provide. Please take a look and consider Quick Formations

I would recommend looking at our Professional Agents package as that gives you all the correct paperwork, such as share certificates and statutory register. Very competitively priced, if not the "cheapest" way to form a company. The cheapest way would not give you this paperwork that your bank will most likely ask for to sort the account out.

I would definitely recommend Quick Formations after having used them myself.

Likewise, but registering the Ltd Co is only a tiny part of the story. How many shareholders? How would the transfer from Sole Trader be handled? How will you pay yourself?

Do please consult your accountant on this, as there are good and bad ways of doing it. And you need to properly understand your responsibilities with a Ltd Co.
